Summer Golf Lessons at Arroyo Trabuco

Lessons for Adults and Juniors are open for registration at Arroyo Trabuco. Summer lessons for anyone age 7 and up are beginning soon. Read on to find all the details and to sign up!

Juniors

Join Matsumura Golf for the Ultimate Summer Golf Experience. The 3-month program for Children 7 or older provides instruction and golf Monday-Friday from 3pm til either 6 or 7:30pm.

Here at Matsumura Golf, we have been passionate about junior golf development for the past 11 years. This summer, we created the Ultimate Summer Golf Experience. It’s a 3-month long program for golfers ages 7 and older that allows parents/families to build a program over the course of 11 weeks. It’s designed to allow players to blend in 3 hour skills and training days with 4.5 hour 9-hole and dinner days.

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club
Monday, June 17 to Friday, August 30
Monday, Wednesday, Friday (3-6pm): Skills and Training ($110/Class)
Tuesday and Thursday (3-7:30pm): 9-holes and dinner from ($125/Class)
11-week program cost $1150

Each Skills and Training class will be limited to 6 golfers per 1 Coach and 9-hole classes limited to 4 players per 1 coach. With the design of this program, space is extremely limited for each class.

Adults

Spots remain for South County Golf Academy’s Adult Golf Fundamentals class, which begins July 12th and runs through Aug. 3rd. Cost is $150.

This class will allow you or a loved one to feel confident to play a round of golf and enjoy this great sport! Lessons cover the fundamental elements to a flawless, and injury-free swing, as well as create awareness of the proper muscles being used in your golf swing. By using and activating the proper muscles we can prevent injury and speed up the learning process.

USGA New Rules for 2019

Golf ushered in a new set of rules changes on Jan. 1, 2019. The rule allowing the flagstick to be left in while putting is getting the most attention, but the changes (all largely designed to speed up play) go well beyond that. How familiar are you with the changes?

Want to send your kids (ages 7-17) to golf camp? South County Golf Academy has three remaining: July 9-13, July 23-27, Aug. 6-10. Classes run 8 a.m. to noon.

Camps are designed for all ability levels and will cover all aspects of the game from putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, course management, golf fitness, rules and etiquette. Student teacher ratio is 6 to 1 to ensure that the kids are getting instruction.

Cost is $300.

It’s starting to feel like summer out there, and that’s because Summer is nearly here. How will your kids spend their summer? We’ve got some suggestions for you. Check out these Junior Summer Camps at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club.

South County Golf Academy

Join Brian Schippel for great, well-rounded golf programs for ages 3-17 that will keep kids active and engaged.

Camps are designed for all ability levels and will cover all aspects of the game from putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, course management, rules and etiquette, and golf fitness. We have created the best practices for allowing any level of golfer to excel to the next level in a fun and safe environment. Our goal is to make each kid love the game of golf!

Price for the week includes: Range balls, Loaner Golf Clubs (if needed), Prizes, and a whole lot of fun on the golf course!

Matsumura Golf

Summer Golf Program for Children ages 7-15

Join Seiko and Aki Matsumura with Matsumura Golf at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club for a fun and engaging summer youth golf program with a flexible schedule.

Want to get your child into golf classes this summer but busy with vacations and family in town? Have your junior come to one class or multiple classes for the months of June and July/August. Studies show that frequent repetition that is spaced out is the most efficient way to learn and is better for long-term retention.

Students of this program will:

Have fun and enjoy golfing in a comfortable learning environment

South County Golf Academy

As the weather gets warmer, it is time to knock off the rust from your game! We wanted to make you aware of the latest events happening at South County Golf Academy, that can help with that. They have some great classes starting up for all ages!

Golf Fundamentals

For adults, their “Golf Fundamentals” class starts March 10th at 1:00 PM

It will run every Friday for 4 weeks, and end on Friday, March 31st.

This class allows you to learn the fundamentals of a great swing, as well as learn the proper muscles involved in creating a great swing. This will allow you to learn the game faster, more efficiently, and pain free!

Golf Fundamentals

Beginner Course Management

If you have your swing fundamentals already dialed in and are looking to take your golf game to the next level, they also offer a “Beginner Course Management” class starting on Thursday June 1st at 5:00 PM. It will run every Thursday for 4 weeks, and end on Thursday June 22nd.

This class allows you to play different shots on the course, learn rulings and etiquette, as well as dial in your swing mechanics.

Golf Swing Fundamentals

Are you new to the game of golf, or frustrated with your current swing?

Are you ready to take your golf game to the next level?

South County Golf Academy is offering a brand new class to walk you through all of the key fundamentals needed in a great golf swing. We break down the swing, the game, and the body, to help you better understand how to take your golf performance to the next level.

There are 3 levels of this class, Beginner, Intermediate, and On-Course, that can be advanced through. This way, there are measurable results to your progress.

First class starts Friday September 9th at 1:00 PM! Sign up now, because class size is small and there are limited spots available.
